KTI also has other unwind models available including our unwind/rewind bookend packages. The "bookend" package is so named as both the unwind and rewind utilize identical plate framework and share many operational components, reducing maintenance costs and framing the process with aesthetically appealing equipment. This system is offered specifically for web process printers and converters running "roll to roll' or "roll to cut" where automatic splicing is not required.
