Automatic Microprocessor Control

KTI controls are simple and straightforward, but sophisticated enough to provide all the information and control required. The controls provide for self contained diagnostics, allowing the operator to check most splicer functions from the control panel, and without the need for test equipment. Behind the controls is the "brain" of KTI Splicers... the simple microprocessor board assembly that so completely automates these splicers.

Digital Auto-splice

Splice diameter is digitally controlled for maximum material usage. No last second web "jump" as is common with "tail grabber" designs which can scar the surface and misalign the web with the prep just before the splice. Web remains attached to core with minimal wraps, assuring alignment, maximum material utilization and no web run-off.
