Zero Gap Butt Splice
The heart of the system is the ZERO GAP butt splice unit. During the splice
cycle, both webs are severed simultaneously, producing expiring web cut-off and new web
lead edge trim in one motion.

Shaftless Turret Design
Trying to load an out of round core on to a
cantilevered shaft is eliminated, thanks to KTI's "shaftless" turret. Rolls
are loaded directly from the floor from the same position each time. The core chucks only
engage into the core a few inches, eliminating the need to force a core shaft through the
entire core.
