Quality Comes First 

Improving the overall quality of your finished product is not always the first thing that comes to mind when discussing splicers.  However, some of the same features that make the LS Splicer a highly efficient method of changing roll stock are the same ones that improve the quality of your finished product.  The genius behind the LS is the repeatable, consistent splice.  A simple, straightforward splice prep is a necessity in these times when quality, as well as time is of the utmost importance. 

The low riding festoon minimizes web weave and wrinkling by maintaining a short web span until it is time to splice.  The festoon then rises to accumulate web stock that will be used to keep the press running while the LS makes a perfect, zero speed splice.   

Several options are also available that further improve quality.  The LS can be fitted with a web guide to control web alignment or an infeed to assist with the tension control of particularly sensitive applications.  For running pre-printed material, an in-register version of the LS Splicer is available.   

Time is Money
